When you open up your module and separate the two boards, if it looks like this, you have the early version module.    They can be mapped to either 2.8L, 3.2L, or 3.6L base maps.  It is also possible to enrichen the WOT fuel mapping as well as remap a more aggressive WOT ignition timing curve than the base maps.  We do not recommend tuning the part throttle fueling unless significant modifications have been done to the engine.  Drivability at part throttle is quite excellent as mapped by Mercedes.  However, part throttle ignition timing can be tuned with good results.  In off road/racing applications EGR can be tuned out and the Non-Katalyst lambda targets can be activated.
